Eddie Barksdale

Eddie Barksdale attended Omega Real estate school where he became a licensed REALTOR in 2006. He began his career at Berkshire “Hathaway” formerly “Prudential” Fox & Roach Realtors in Bear, Delaware. He obtained additional training through Prudential University to understand market conditions and selling philosophies. Within his first year at “Prudential” Fox & Roach Realtors, Eddie sold over 2 million dollars in gross sales and was selected the 2007 Rookie of the year for the company. Eddie focused on working with first-time home buyers and sellers looking to sell in their residential market. Eddie obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing in 2010 from Wilmington University graduating with honors. Eddie’s ultimate goal was to open up his own real estate brokerage. After serving a 7 year apprenticeship with Prestige Realty under Broker Pete Lauber as a salesperson, and a one year sole venture at Realty Mark Associates as a salesperson, Eddie enrolled into the Delaware Real estate Institute Broker school. Eddie took and passed his state and National Exam enabling him the option of sole proprietorship. In 2016, Barksdale Affiliates Realty was born with the ultimate goal of serving the Delaware market. Eddie believes that on - going training and education in the real estate industry is vitally important and he draws from a variety of experiences and constant contact with his sphere of influence to help him continue to grow both personally and professionally. Eddie has been a resident of Newark, Delaware over 20 years living his younger years in the city of Wilmington; accumulating an intimate knowledge of these communities and wealth of information to share with his clients.
